At Song Yan Eco Leisure Farm, we believe that the purest flavors come directly from the earth. Our farm-to-table philosophy celebrates the natural bounty of our organic gardens, where each vegetable and herb is carefully tended using sustainable practices.

What is JIA condo? / What’s the difference between JIA Condo & Song Yan farm stay?
JIA Condo is a separate compound from Song Yan Farm Stay.Â

Guests staying at JIA Condo are welcome to visit and enjoy the farm area at Song Yan (Subjected to availability). However, access to the accommodation areas and dining area within Song Yan Farm Stay is NOT allowed.

Is Song Yan serving plant-based vegetarian meals?
Yes, we offer a healthy plant-based, farm-to-table dining experience using fresh seasonal harvests from our farm. As a meat-free eco farm stay, we focus on serving natural and wholesome meals inspired by sustainable living. Dinner will be served as a healthy farm-to-table buffet when the number of guests exceeds 40, depending on seasonal availability.
Can I BBQ or cook here?
No. Self-cooking and BBQ are NOT allowed during stay.
Why are rooms unavailable on certain dates?
We normally open bookings 2 months in advance. If your preferred date is currently unavailable, the rooms may not have been released yet.Â

What is inclusive in the room package?
Dinner (Day 1) & Breakfast (Day 2) will be provided during your stay, portion will be based on the number of pax you booked. A farm tour with staff guidance after your check-in at 4 – 4.30pm (Depends on weather, subjected to availability).
Other activities such as kayaking, archery, swimming, animal feeding are all free & easy, without booking required.
What can we do during our stay?
Song Yan is a farm stay designed for guests seeking for a leisure, relaxing, and wellness-focused staycation experience surrounded by nature.

During your stay, you may enjoy a variety of activities, including kayaking, archery, swimming (Spring Pool), mini petting zoo feeding sessions, table games, and pickleball (advance booking required).
Guests are also welcome to slow down, explore the farm surroundings, and enjoy the fresh air and tranquil atmosphere.
WIFI and Network
To encourage our guests to reconnect with nature and enjoy a more mindful retreat experience, Wi-Fi is not provided at our farm stay.
Mobile data is generally accessible around the main building area, although signal strength may be weaker in the room areas depending on your service provider.
Is outside food & meat allowed?
Outside food and meat are NOT allowed, as we are a meat-free eco farm stay. We invite guests to enjoy our healthy vegetarian farm-to-table meals made with seasonal farm harvests.

Alcohol and light snacks without meat are allowed. Please drink responsibly. Any outside food or beverages consumed within the premises are at the guest’s own risk.
What is the difference between all room types?
We offer two room categories:
• Wooden Buildings — Cottage & Premium Cottage
• Brick Buildings — Deluxe View & Lodge

Wooden rooms are naturally warmer during the afternoon, so air conditioning is provided. Brick rooms stay naturally cool due to our hillside location below Genting Highlands–Bukit Tinggi, therefore air conditioning is not provided.
The weather here is generally cool and comfortable, especially at night and in the morning.
Can I walk-in to stay or dine-in?
As we follow a farm-to-table concept, we operate strictly by reservation only and are unable to accommodate walk-in guests for dining or stay.

This is because our ingredients are freshly harvested and prepared based on the confirmed number of guests each day. Our menu also depends on the farm’s daily harvest and seasonal availability.
We kindly encourage guests to make a reservation in advance to ensure the best experience.
Is it wheelchair friendly?
As our farm stay is located within a natural hillside environment, certain areas include slopes, uneven paths, and hills, so guests are advised to explore the surroundings at their own comfort and discretion.

Some room categories may also require the use of stairs. However, ramps are available to assist wheelchair access at the main building and Lodge areas.

What is provided in the room, and what should I bring?
We provide a cozy, simply furnished room for your stay, along with a hair dryer and an organic head-to-toe shower gel and shampoo.
Please note that disposable amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, cotton buds, shower caps, and combs are not provided.
Guests should bring their own personal essentials, including a water bottle and towels. You may also bring mosquito repellent or other basic medical items for your comfort during your stay.
Is smoking/vape allowed?
How are children charged?
Children aged 4 to 12 years are considered as a paying guest (pax) and will enjoy RM30 off the standard rate. They will be provided with their own bed and meals during the stay.

Children below 4 years old stay free of charge (FOC), sharing both meals and bedding with their parents.
Any extra charges during the stay?
Additional add on beds, beverages and light snacks are not included in the room package and will be charged separately.
We also provide fish food for guests who would like to feed the fish, which is available for purchase at an additional cost.
Are the animals in the farm friendly to children?
Our farm is home to a variety of friendly animals, including goats, ducks, geese, fish, and our farm dogs. Guests are welcome to visit and interact with them during their stay.
For everyone’s comfort and safety, we kindly recommend maintaining a respectful distance and avoiding any sudden or risky behaviour around the animals. Please note that all interactions with the animals are at guests’ own discretion and responsibility.
Weekday & Weekend Rates
Friday, Saturday, public holiday eves, and public holidays are considered weekend rates.
Sunday to Thursday is considered weekday rates.
Do you provide car park?
Yes, we have a car park provided in our farm stay.
Is there bike rental available? /Can we ride our own bike here?
We currently do not provide bicycle rental services. For safety reasons, guests are also not allowed to ride personal bicycles within our compound.
